Jumia is the leading pan-African e-commerce platform, operating online marketplaces in countries such as Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Uganda and Senegal. Consumers can shop for smartphones, electronics, fashion, beauty, home appliances, groceries and much more, with delivery through Jumia's own logistics network and pick-up stations, as well as payment by card, mobile money, cash on delivery or JumiaPay. The platform runs regular large campaigns like Black Friday and anniversary sales that drive strong traffic and conversions. Jumia operates its own affiliate platform, the Jumia KOL Portal, where bloggers, influencers, WhatsApp and Telegram group owners and deal sites can generate tracked links to any product and earn commission on completed orders. Rates range from about 2% up to 11% depending on category and country, with a 7-day cookie. Commissions are paid monthly in local currency by bank transfer or JumiaPay, with a minimum payout that varies by country.
